Tuning Oracle
Oracle’s tuning service will perform a review and adjustment of the platform configuration.
The work is aimed at issuing a first report with recommendations and implementation plans to improve the performance, scalability and availability of its Oracle platform, as well as the resources allocated to these database environments, in accordance with the Oracle manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations.
Some of the tasks to be performed are:

- Backup Management Report.
- Study of disk accesses.
- Review of the storage model used (file-system, raw, ASM).
- Individualized review of Oracle instances.
- Study of the different memory structures.
- Obtaining the heaviest queries for later review.

- Study and analysis of the configuration of each of the instances and collection of data on current use.
- Configuration of automatic collection of system and database statistics at peak load times.
- Study of the maximum thresholds reached during this data collection in order to adjust the database to them.
- Review of current parameters and the most common waiting times and report recommendations to improve performance.
